2010-10-29
October 29, 2010 (Press-News.org) Jorpe is an excellent example of an entrepreneurial company that took advantage of the opportunity to provide specific services to major contractors on a regular basis.

Its principal client is South Africa's mammoth petrochemical, mining and chemical industry corporation SASOL, and over the years it has added many others including Africa's biggest black empowered mining company Exxaro, the international steel conglomerate Arcelor Mittal and even one of the world's largest mining conglomerates Anglo American.

In addition to conventional construction work, Jorpe has had a wealth of experience in specialised operations such as plant shutdown and partial shutdown as well as petrochemical sector work.

It relishes taking on demanding and challenging locations found in the industry, such as gassy areas and complex piping work. Its portfolio extends to fabrication as well as groundwork and conveyor systems: it is in fact a highly diverse company with a great track record.

Jorpe is constantly diversifying its portfolio while ensuring it can provide exceptional customer service. "The worst thing you can do in this industry is to overstretch yourself or to take on more work than you have the capacity to complete comfortably," says George Du Plessis, CEO and Managing Director.
