The Young Designers Market in Brisbane could be a great place to pick up some stylish and unique clothes, art or furniture.

2010-10-29
BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA, October 29, 2010 (Press-News.org) Travellers who take some time out from sightseeing in Brisbane to visit the Young Designers Market could unearth some brilliant and unique items.

While many tourists booked into Brisbane hotels may head to the city to enjoy its culture and vibrant entertainment, they should not forget that there are all sorts of opportunities for shopping.

A great place to find something a little bit different could be the Young Designers Market, which takes place on the first Sunday of the month at South Bank Market.

"New on the Brisbane scene, the Young Designers Market features some of Brisbane's best up and coming designers and artists selling a range of fashion and accessories, jewellery, homewares, furniture and arts," revealed the organisers.

The series of markets kicked off on October 3rd 2010 and will be going on for the enjoyment of residents and tourists until September 4th 2011.

Opening hours for the shopping area are from 10:00 to 16:00 local time, with visitors not having to pay a cent to have a look around.

The fun does not have to stop there for people staying at any of the cheap hotels Brisbane offers, as South Bank boasts several bars and restaurants, such as 5ifth Element, Obsession and Stone.
