Tangent Medical Launches Nurses' Choice Awards in Honor of National Nurses Week 2013

ANN ARBOR, MI, April 24, 2013 (Press-News.org) Tangent Medical Technologies (www.tangentmedical.com), an innovator in IV therapy products and creator of the NovaCathTM Integrated IV Catheter System, today launched an annual recognition program to promote excellence in nursing in conjunction with National Nurses Week 2013. Deemed the Nurses' Choice Awards, Tangent Medical is targeting clinicians across the nation and empowering them to nominate co-workers who exemplify excellence in patient care. Award submissions begin today and continue through May 2, 2013 at http://www.TangentMedical.com/NCA2013. Winners will be announced and featured on Tangent Medical's website at the start of National Nurses Week beginning May 6, 2013. Nominators are asked to submit individuals who have been an inspiration in any or all of these areas:

Improving the Overall Quality of Patient Care
Improving Patient Comfort & Satisfaction
Improving Patient Safety
