INDIANAPOLIS, IN, April 25, 2013 (Press-News.org) Moving and storage industry leader Stephen F. Burns is the new chairman of the American Moving & Storage Association (AMSA). Burns is the former CEO and current Chairman of Wheaton World Wide Moving | Bekins Van Lines, Inc. and has worked in the moving industry for more than 30 years.
"Steve brings the perfect blend of integrity, credibility and industry knowledge to the AMSA board," said Linda Darr, AMSA's president and CEO. "He's smart, well-respected and gives us strong leadership as our industry adapts to a changing marketplace."
AMSA's ProMover program will continue to be a major focus under Burns' leadership to help consumers easily identify legitimate, quality movers. Burns has been involved in AMSA for many years and has contributed to the evolution of ProMover.
