QUINCY, MA, April 26, 2013 (Press-News.org) Recognized by TIME Magazine, MSNBC, and Parents Magazine, Summer Advantage USA hopes to fill over 175 jobs Colorado and Chicago.
Benefiting thousands of children nationwide, Summer Advantage USA is a research based summer learning program that works with school districts and schools to impact student achievement in grades K - 9.
The program is recruiting for multiple positions in Chicago and Colorado.
Colorado opportunities:
In partnership with Summit 54, Summer Advantage USA is returning to Roaring Fork Valley in Colorado. Summer Advantage will operate in Glenwood Springs, Carbondale, and Basalt. The program will serve grade levels K-3 and has positions for 126 Academic Teachers, Enrichment Teachers, Teacher's Assistants and Nurses.
The interview days are Tuesday, April 30 in Glenwood Springs and Carbondale, and Wednesday, May 1 in Basalt. Trainings will be held from June 24 - June 28. The summer program operates from July 8 - August 9. Bilingual speakers (Spanish) are highly encouraged to apply.
Chicago opportunities:
Partnering with the Chicago Housing Authority, Summer Advantage is hiring seasonal Academic Teachers, Dual Teachers, Teacher's Assistants and Nurses throughout Chicago who are interested in working with students in grades 6 - 9.
Interviews will be held in May and the training is July 1st - 5th. The nationally recognized Chicago program will operate July 8th - August 16th.
