ORLANDO, FL, April 26, 2013 (Press-News.org) Oombaga, the mobile application which allows timeshare owners to pay maintenance fees, make reservations and carry out transactions with their resort in real time, was honored at the Resort Development Association's World Convention with the Ace Innovator Award. The award recognizes those who have successfully implemented a groundbreaking product, service or concept. "It's about recognizing the 'best of the best' in the vacation ownership industry," said Howard Nusbaum, president and CEO of ARDA.

One of the requirements of winning the coveted ACE Award is support from peers, clients, and partners. Winners were nominated by their peers in the industry and only the winner was announced in a blind judging. Oombaga received many letters of support like this one from, Trudo Letchert at Galleon Resort:

"We are so happy to support your nomination at ARDA this year. Innovation is not your middle name, but your first! At Galleon, as you know, we have numerous transactions that our owners make from renting a slip in the marina to exchanging a week, or renting more time. Owners also need to book their time as well as pay maintenance fees. Your software has allowed many of these things to occur. Now with Oombaga it's all in one place, and it's mobile too!"

Oombaga previously received the Innovator of the Year Award at Perspective Magazine's GNEX2013 event.

The Oombaga software is powered by Triton Timeshare Software. Triton itself in known for both its property management software as well as its sales and marketing software which includes lead tracking, marketing management, payroll and forecasting tools, to highlight a few. Founded in 1997, Triton is used by numerous resorts including Tropic Shores, Daytona Beach, FL and The Galleon (Key West), Magen's Point (St. Thomas).

Oombaga is a mobile application which allows timeshare owners to pay maintenance fees, make reservations and carry out transactions with their resort. The middleware connects timeshare owners to their resorts making transactions seamless via any online and mobile device. Owners/members may choose float assignments, exchange, and rent and book their time all in one place through tablets, smart phones, websites, emails and instant messaging.
