Last week, greeNEWit, a Maryland sustainability company that helps homeowners and businesses adopt energy efficiency best practices, participated in the Startup America Partnership Region Championship Summit in Phoenix, Arizona.greeNEWit, a Startup Maryland regional champion, was selected amongst 526 other businesses in the state to participate in the three day summit. Region Champions are local entrepreneurs, investors and corporate representatives volunteering their time and skills toward a common goal: growing their local startup community.
The event took place at Seed Spot, a Phoenix-based nonprofit incubator supporting Arizona early-stage social entrepreneurs. During the event, 125 entrepreneurs from more than 35 states identified and tackled common community building challenges and discussed big ideas that will make each community a great place to grow a business.
Startup America Partnership is a national network of entrepreneurial business ventures. The organization gives startup businesses across the country the opportunity to network with one another and receive regional and national support.
