NEW YORK, NY, May 02, 2013 (Press-News.org) - Popular contest-based website, Model Launcher LLC. (http://modellauncher.com/), has recently announced Farmington Hill, Michigan's Madelyn Karoub as their winner for the Green themed contest for girls 17 through 20. Madelyn is more famously known on Model Launcher for her very close competition against fellow contestant, Elizabeth Bujans. The two girls were neck and neck until the public finally sided with Madelyn, making her an official Model Launcher winner. Model Launcher contestants were asked to submit nonprofessional photos in a favorite green outfit to participate. 21 days after opening up the contest for submissions the public can begin voting on their preferred contestant.
"Madelyn's win for the Green contest was very intense," starts Model Launcher CEO and founder, Bill Staniford. "She and Elizabeth had a very tight match as public favorites. Madelyn is a very sweet girl. She's dazzling, ambitious, and knows what she wants. I know she will have countless opportunities in the future. We were lucky to find her, and to also have the public make her an official Model Launcher winner."
Model Launcher is a competition-based website that gives aspiring models, both male and female between the ages of 13 and 35, a chance at stardom through various online modeling contest themes and casting rooms. Every contest is powered by public voting, and the contestants are encouraged to share their voting links through various social media networks such as Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Google+, etc. in order to increase their chances at winning. Through winning the Model Launcher contest Madelyn received a one-of-a-kind professional photo shoot with fashion photographer John Fisher, a trip to Miami, a stay at the Hilton South Beach Hotel, limo car service and publicity support from Beautiful Planning Marketing & PR to help her jump start her modeling career. After her incredible photo shoot, Madelyn and her father were delighted to have dinner with John Fisher and his crew at Lincoln Boulevard's Doraku Sushi.
"Nothing was more surprising in my life than winning the Model Launcher contest," begins recent Model Launcher winner, Madelyn Karoub. "I was so shocked when I got the call from Bill. It didn't really hit me until the day of the photo shoot. I felt terribly nervous at first, but John and his team quickly made me feel at home. And the beach was exquisite!"
Madelyn, who hails from Michigan, had dreamt of becoming a model since she was thirteen years old. After searching online for modeling opportunities—as many previous Model Launcher winners have done before—she found contest-based website, entered the Green themed contest, and later won. Despite her age, Madelyn is very mature and hopes to follow in the career footsteps of her father, Dr. Frederick Karoub. The seventeen year old high school junior is currently looking into pre-med programs at the University of Miami and the University of California, Los Angeles, and hopes to begin applying soon. When she's not buried in books, the young beauty can be found play tennis for her high school's varsity team, or playing her beloved violin.
Previous Model launcher winners have been featured in various news and media placements including
CNBC.com and Examiner.com. Brandi Vicks of Model Launcher also appeared as a model on Bravo's hit reality show, Project Runway. Previous winner Alexandra Romanescu was also honored as a Style Winner for Teen Model Magazine. The online modeling competition website has recently opened their site to unique partnership and advertisement opportunities for various businesses such as fashion brands, hair and beauty product companies, photographers, modeling agencies, etc. These businesses can choose from various different advertising packages offered by Model Launcher to fit the many different needs of each company. Previous businesses that partner with Model Launcher include designer Dominique Auxilly, London based women's wear and accessory brand Fabryan, and Trans American Muscle to name a few.
