"Fundamental Contract and Project Management" from the Government Contracting Institute

On May 7, 2013 The Government Contracting Institute will present, "Fundamental Contract and Project Management," a course designed to help attendees see success in every phase of contract management.

BALTIMORE, MD, May 03, 2013 (Press-News.org) The Government Contracting Institute will debut "Fundamental Contract and Project Management" on May 7, 2013. The course, sponsored by bwtech@UMBC and TargetGov, will discuss the techniques to manage contract delivery, budget, staffing, risk and quality while fostering the client relationship; being responsive to needs of project staff; meeting company financial and project goals, creating third party relationships to add value or fill gaps, and understanding differences between risks and threats. Instructing the course is April Wennerberg, President and Founder of Project Masters Inc., Office Space Your Way LLC and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). She has over 25 years of Project Management Experience in a variety of industries. Being able to meet the needs of the government in a timely and well thought-out manner is crucial to improving and maintaining past performance metrics. This course will teach participants how to manage a contract using project management principals and help them continue seeing success in the federal government marketplace.
