SALISBURY, ENGLAND, August 24, 2010 (Press-News.org) Steelhenge Consulting, a leading provider of business continuity and crisis management consultancy, is delighted to announce that it has been accepted onto the BSI Group Associate Consultant Programme (ACP). In order to gain acceptance, Steelhenge demonstrated a proven track record and excellent specialist knowledge of BS25999; the British Standard for Business Continuity Management, BS25777; the British Standard for ICT Continuity Management and ISO/IEC 27001, the international standard for Information Security Management Systems. For more information, visit http://www.steelhenge.co.uk or call 0845 094 2117.
In response to the many requests for recommended business continuity consultancies and due to the fact that as a certification body, the BSI Group is unable to provide any form of consultancy service, BSI Group launched the Associate Consultant Programme. "The Associate Consultant Programme is a list of BCM consultancy suppliers that have met the BSI Group ACP entry requirements and completed the extensive application process," explained Isobel Nicholas, Director of Communications for Steelhenge. "It enables the BSI Group to pass on details of excellent business continuity consultancies, whilst remaining totally impartial."
When asked what Steelhenge was required to do for the application process, Isobel replied; "We needed to demonstrate a track record in successfully assisting clients in their preparation for certification to BS25999, to provide evidence to demonstrate the breadth and depth of our experience in business continuity management and to offer referees from amongst our key clients for the BSI to follow up. We're delighted to be accepted into the ACP not only for BS25999 but also BS25777 and ISO/IEC 27001 consultancy," Isobel added, "demonstrating the expert business continuity management and ICT continuity management consultancy we provide."
