The Free Publishing 101 encourages authors to send a 101-word essay stating why they should be given a free publishing package. This Facebook contest is open to the public, and anyone at any age can participate. The said contest will be decided basing on the highest number of votes. The first three participants who can get the most number of votes at the end of the contest duration will be rewarded a complete publishing package. The Free Publishing 101 will run from May 1 to 31.

The rewards for the Free Publishing 101 are complete publishing packages worth $1000 each (on black and white or full-color). These publishing packages are replete with the basic publishing requirements, from ISBN application to worldwide distribution. The packages also include free book copies.
