LOS ANGELES, CA, May 03, 2013 (Press-News.org) David Schlocker, founder and president of DRS and Associates is proud to announce the addition of Mariakay Chakos as Senior Account Manager. Mariakay will serve a range of lighting and kitchen and bath clients for the boutique sized agency headquartered in Los Angeles, with satellite offices in New York and Boston. She will report directly to David Schlocker.
For the past fifteen years, Mariakay has immersed herself in public relations. She previously worked as a Public Relations Consultant at PJs Sleep Company where she helped launch their new Ivy Organics organic mattresses and bedding. Before that, she represented the buzzing home entertainment industry, working on DVD publicity campaigns for television and movie releases for the major studios and networks. This is not Mariakay's first collaboration with DRS and Associates, as she has been hired for specific projects in the past.
"We are very excited to bring Mariakay on as a full-time account manager," said David Schlocker. "We always enjoyed working with her and were impressed with her caliber of writing and ability to understand our varied client base. She has already hit the ground running and we are thrilled to have her join our team."
