The Advanced Energy board of directors is made up of eight members appointed to represent public interests, four directors appointed by the member utilities, one legislative member and one member appointed by the North Carolina Utilities Commission. Appointed by former North Carolina Governor Bev Perdue, Briguglio will represent public interests.
