LateRooms.com - Liverpool to Host British Supercross Championship

Daredevils will have a great time at the British Supercross Championship in Liverpool.

2010-10-30
LIVERPOOL, ENGLAND, October 30, 2010 (Press-News.org) The British Supercross Championship is sure to serve up plenty of thrills and spills for fans staying at Liverpool hotels in November.

Some of the finest riders in the world will be lining up to show the crowds their talents on the speedy two-wheeled machines.

The action will take place on November 27th at Liverpool Echo Arena, which can be found at Kings Dock on the city's waterfront.

There is certainly plenty of preparation going into the event, with 2,000 tonnes of earth needing to be brought in for the organisers to create the daredevil race track for the riders to zip around.

"A full line-up of international and British racing stars will be coming to Liverpool to thrill the crowd as they do battle for this annual action packed extravaganza," explained the team behind the occasion.

They claimed that it is set to be an extreme evening, with all sorts of jumps and turns set up to test the talent and reflexes of the competitors.

If this sounds like fun, travellers should snap up tickets while they still can, as the event is likely to sell out.

Passes cost between GBP21 and GBP36, depending on which part of the arena people want to sit.

The recent Belfast Supercross event at the Odyssey Arena saw Irish rider Martin Barr win the All British Open, meaning he could be one to watch out for at the show in Liverpool.

For more information on this event visit the Echo Arena website or contact the venue on 0844 8000 400.
