Top-rated Digisonics CVIS chosen by two new East Coast sites

Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, Md., and Naugatuck Valley Cardiovascular Associates in Middlebury, Conn., implemented the top-rated Digisonics CVIS and structured reporting solution.

HOUSTON, TX October 30, 2010 (Press-News.org) The top-rated Digisonics CVIS and structured reporting solution was recently purchased by Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, Md. The site implemented the DigiView Image Management and Structured Reporting System with the DigiNet Pro application to instantly view images and finalize structured reports from anywhere via the Internet. The site also purchased the Digisonics Gateway Monitor system which will continuously monitor and record all network transmissions and DICOM Server software to automatically route digital images for archiving in the enterprise PACS. Digisonics DataLink modules will auto-populate important patient biometry from the site's GE ultrasound systems to the Digisonics cardiovascular software, while the DigiHL7 software will interface with the site's Meditech HIS for Orders-In/Results-Out.

The DigiView Image Management & Structured Reporting System was also implemented at Naugatuck Valley Cardiovascular Associates in Middlebury, Conn. The DigiNet Pro application will allow users to access the site's complete clinical database, view and edit the DICOM images and finalize structured reports from anywhere via an Internet connection. The Digisonics Gateway Monitor system software will continuously monitor and record all network transmissions to ensure a seamless clinical workflow and the Digisonics DataLink modules will auto-populate patient biometry from the site's Philips ultrasound system to the Digisonics software.
