SAN JOSE, CA, May 10, 2013 (Press-News.org) Coggno, the premier Learning Management System (LMS) and online training marketplace, announces the start of its contest, asking entrants to share their bad corporate training experiences, to be submitted on the company's blog, ThatTrainingSucked.com, and judged by other entrants and readers.
Submit your entries at http://www.thattrainingsucked.com, starting at midnight on May 1, 2013 PDT until 11:59 pm PDT, May 22, 2013. All entries will be posted by May 24, 2013. Voting will begin after all entries are posted, and will end at 11:59 pm PDT on May 31, 2013.
Coggno will keep everyone posted on our main Web site, blogs and our Social Media pages. You will also be able to share your entry on your favorite Social Media sites like Facebook and Twitter. The entry with the most votes will be announced on Coggno's blog on June 1st.
The idea behind the contest is to give those who have taken part in subpar corporate training a forum to share their experiences, and to offer a sense of community. Many corporate employees have been subjected to questionable training practices which might have included long hours in conference rooms listening to consultants drone on about their theories, or other required forms of training that were unable to effectively convey important information. Today's corporate employees deserve the best possible opportunities to improve their performance, without being held back by antiquated training techniques. Coggno understands that online corporate training is not the future, it is the present; the company's goal is to spread the word about the availability of quality online training courses that can be completed on a variety of electronic devices, and are vastly more cost-effective than the outdated consultant/conference room scenario.
At the conclusion of the contest, the entry with the most votes will receive a Kindle Fire tablet as the top prize. Runners-up will receive Coggno t-shirts. For more information, visit Coggno.com, or call 1.888.585.9978.
