The event was originally slated for August 27 & 28, 2010. Staff and sponsors requested the date be moved to include the American Music Awards Nominees, while celebrating Emmy Nominees, as well as past and present television stars. "After discussing the date change with executives participating in the event, the agreement to change dates has proven to be the right choice," says Emerging Magazine Managing Director, S. Rothe du Bois. "Our concern has been focused on what is best for the charity," he adds.

The 2010 Emmy Celebration & American Music Awards Luxury Party features several live music performances during the day, charity silent auction, celebrity red carpet , designer fashion show, celebrity meet and greet, luxury lounge, television show premier, exotic car show and much more.
