Ward's nomination will be confirmed at the division's annual meeting, held on Friday, May 10 at the Grandover Resort, in Greensboro, N.C. Once confirmed, she will begin serving her three-year term July 1, 2013.

The Paralegal Division Council is the governing body of the paralegal division of the N.C. Bar Association. Each member of the council serves for three years, during which time they work to provide necessary and helpful resources for paralegals throughout the state.
