The Healthiest Employers program is a privately-held technology and data research company based out of Indianapolis that focuses on corporate wellness through the collection of data and analysis. The program is the largest of its kind, with representation of over 5,000,000 employees worldwide, covering 40 major metropolitan markets and 35 of the Fortune 100 companies.

The Healthiest Employer awards program provides recognition to companies that are dedicated in creating a healthy working environment for their employees. To determine the winners, local companies were surveyed, analyzed, and scored using an online assessment tool to measure each company through six components. The components are: culture and leadership commitment, foundational components, strategic planning, communication and marketing, programming and interventions, and reporting and analysis.
