TrakMaps Launches Topo GPS Maps for Atlantic Canada

Digital topographic maps for New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland & Labrador now available for Lowrance GPS units.

DORVAL, QC, May 14, 2013 (Press-News.org) TrakMaps is excited to offer outdoor enthusiasts province-wide topographic interactive maps of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland & Labrador for their Lowrance GPS device*.

Atlantic Canada is appreciated for the warmth of its people, its stunning scenery and a culture of outdoor recreational pursuits. Perfect for hiking, camping, hunting, snowmobile and ATV, TOPO Atlantic Canada 1 users can plan and safely enjoy their outdoor adventures and be secure in the knowledge that they will always know where they are. Included are thousands of POIs (points of interest) including gas stations, cellular towers, camping spots, picnic areas, airports and more.

TrakMaps TOPO Atlantic Canada 1 is easy to use and includes contour lines, points of elevation and other terrain features for mountains, hills, valleys, lakes, rivers, forest zones, swamps, etc. As well, buildings, roads, electric lines, dams, railroads, national parks and other landmarks are clearly indicated. Data sources include CanVec, the Ministry of Natural Resources and TrakMaps.

TrakMaps cartographers and IT specialists have converted government and TrakMaps datum into a GPS format. The preprogrammed memory card is inserted directly into the compatible Lowrance GPS device.
