WEST HARTFORD, CT, May 15, 2013 (Press-News.org) The Connecticut Real Estate Investors Association, or CT REIA, is announcing its May 2013 live property bus tour. This event will take place on May 18, 2013 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The bus will be visiting various investment properties in Connecticut. This tour will offer attendees the opportunity to purchase properties, meet with some of the best local real estate investors, and network with other like-minded investors.

Attendees of this event will learn: an understanding of managing contractors; an understanding of repair estimates and building upgrades; how to avoid sellers and contractors disasters; where to never buy real estate; how to never overpay for repairs; how to not over pay for a property; when to never over-modify a property; what upgrades will provide the best return; how to determine if a property will qualify for FHA financing; which local grants are available; how to find great investment properties; how to inspect properties with confidence; how to develop and continue to improve a real estate investment team while touring potential investment opportunities; how to avoid pitfalls and take advantage of those that other investors avoid; how to analyze a rehab project to prevent over-spending; and much more.
