JP Aerospace Offers Marketing at the Edge of the World

Sponsorships for spaceships

JP Aerospace Offers Marketing at the Edge of the World
2010-08-25
RANCHO CORDOVA, CA, August 25, 2010 (Press-News.org) When trying to promote your product, and sports teams are old news and golf pros are too controversial, there's nowhere to go but up. JP Aerospace is a space research organization that has gone the route of baseball teams and race cars. They are offering sponsorships for their spaceships.

They have put client logos on rockets, balloons and platforms that sit at the edge of space.

"There's nothing like the planet Earth for a great background for your logo," says John Powell, President of JP Aerospace.

Sponsorship marketing has provided the fuel that drives JP Aerospace's rockets and airships higher and higher. Their sponsors have enjoy the benefits of dramatic images and video from their ever further reaches to space, along with across the world good will from their PongSat education program, and consistently positive, feel good, news coverage.

They take a little ribbing from their fellow space researcher, however, "If it's good enough for the sports team, it's good enough for the science team," says Powell.

Upcoming JP Aerospace missions include rockets launched from balloons and an attempt to break the world altitude record for airships.

In an era of companies looking for a marketing edge, they may find it at the edge of space.
