Democrats and Republicans Have Come to an Agreement

HOUSTON, TX, August 25, 2010 (Press-News.org) Governors Bobby Jindal of Louisiana and David Paterson of New York have both endorsed the "unity and friendship campaign". The campaign is designed to connect all people, ideas, views and religious beliefs together for one purpose: unity.

Negris LeBrum Clothing Co., a Houston-based company, created the Unity & Friendship campaign in January 2010. The company later received the Congressional Proclamation of Recognition from Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, 18th Congressional District in Houston, TX on February 27th, proclaiming this day as national Unity & Friendship Day. A representative of Negris LeBrum, Travis Hamilton, stated: "We give very high marks to the political officials that have endorsed the campaign. We truly believe that these leaders thought more about the people they serve and not their party affiliations. The Proclamations are a must read and consist of some very powerful words that you normally don't hear from a politician."

The Proclamations will go on public display during the Unity & Friendship Soiree, to be held on September 24th at the Westin Galleria Hotel in Houston TX. Mr. Hamilton also revealed; "The goal of this campaign is to have the global community and all 50 states on board by February 27th, 2011 recognizing this day as a national day. But it has not been easy to do, some states have actually said no to Unity & Friendship in spite of the people wanting Unity & Friendship."

In recognition of the campaign, Negris LeBrum Clothing Co. developed a custom bracelet that serves as the symbol of unity. The Unity & Friendship ambassador, will direct the exchange ceremony of the Unity & Friendship bracelets amongst the guest
