CAI Announces June 2013 Training Seminars And Development Programs In Greensboro

Local HR Management Firm Offers Comprehensive Training Courses For Triad Business Professionals

GREENSBORO, NC, May 19, 2013 (Press-News.org) Bruce Clarke, president and CEO of CAI (http://www.capital.org), a human resource management firm that helps organizations maximize employee engagement while minimizing employer liability, announced the company's June 2013 schedule of training and development seminars. All courses will be held at CAI's Greensboro location at 7817 National Service Road, Suite 509 unless otherwise noted.

-"Team Leader Certification Program" is a two-day, interactive program that will help prepare team leaders to perform at higher levels. Through group discussions, exercises, role-plays and action planning, attendees will develop the skills necessary to succeed as well as gain a better understanding of how to apply these skills to specific workplace situations. At the end of the course, attendees will be equipped to apply strategies to effectively communicate with and influence others, and manage difficult employee behaviors. -"HR Business Partner Certification Program" is a two-day interactive course designed to help HR professionals become better business partners. Through group discussions, exercises, role-plays and self-assessments, attendees will develop the necessary skills to identify key business issues, diagnose customer needs and effectively influence others. At the end of the course, attendees will be equipped to build highly productive working relationships with internal clients and make a successful transition from functional expert into an HR business partner role. -"Ask the Expert - Keep up with I-9 Compliance: The new I-9 Form and North Carolina's E-Verify Law" is a free, CAI members-only program led by Bernhard Mueller, attorney with Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart P.C. During the course, attendees will learn about the new two-page I-9 form and discuss any resulting changes to the I-9 verification process. Additionally, the course will detail some of the more unique compliance challenges that employers face, such as dealing with remote employees, foreign students with work permits, foreign nationals sponsored for visas, refugees and more. As most North Carolina companies are now required to use the federal E-verify system, course participants will review the current trends in E-verify compliance enforcements and best practices for facing government scrutiny. A program of CAI's "Ask the Expert Series," the course is built to be interactive and all participants are encouraged to bring forth relevant questions regarding their organizations. -"Communication and Conflict Resolution: Mastering the Key Skills for Working Effectively with Others" is a full-day course in which participants will learn how to build productive work relationships by utilizing effective communication skills and working toward collaboration. During the course, participants will identify their individual conflict triggers and develop strategies to help avoid or manage potential conflict. Additionally, participants will discover strategies for working with difficult people and how to better manage their responses.
