MMI Public Relations President Robert Buhler Receives 2013 40 Under 40 Leadership Award

RALEIGH, NC, May 19, 2013 (Press-News.org) MMI Public Relations (http://www.mmipublicrelations.com), a full-service public relations firm, has announced that President Robert Buhler has received a 2013 40 Under 40 Leadership Award from Triangle Business Journal. Each year, the 40 Under 40 Leadership Awards recognize outstanding professionals under the age of 40 for their contributions to their organizations and to the community. Buhler was selected for the award from among more than 300 qualified nominations for his commitment to growing his organization as well as the Triangle's business community at large, and for his dedication to serving the community through volunteer efforts and support of area nonprofits.

While fairly new to the Triangle area, Buhler wasted no time in becoming a valued member of the community. Since joining MMI Public Relations in 2012, Buhler's efforts have enabled the firm to reach new levels of success and growth, expanding its presence with the opening of a new office in Charlotte and opening up new positions within the firm. Beyond just contributing to his own firm, he immediately began serving the Triangle community, volunteering at the local food bank and leading fundraising efforts with various nonprofits and community organizations such as the Salvation Army and the Wake Education Partnership.

Buhler, along with the 39 other award winners, will be honored at an awards luncheon on Thursday, May 16 at the Durham Convention Center at 201 Foster St. The luncheon will take place from 11 a.m. to approximately 2 p.m.

Additionally, Triangle Business Journal will profile Buhler and all other winners in a special section in its Friday, May 17 print edition.
