mrs2be.ie are delighted to announce that they have been shortlisted for the Eircom Spiders 2010 awards under the "listings" category. The awards night takes place on November 18th in The Burlington Hotel, Dublin.

This is the second time this year that the Irish wedding website mrs2be.ie has been shortlisted for an award. In October 2010, mrs2be.ie was also a finalist for "Best Facebook Page for a Business or Organisation" at the Irish Web Awards.

"We're delighted with the news that mrs2be.ie has been shortlisted for an Eircom Spider award" commented Claire Malone, Sales Director of mrs2be.ie. "Since our launch in 2009, we've enjoyed rapid growth in market share by simply connecting our customers with brides in new and exciting ways. It's not easy being a tech startup company in these tough economic times so we're really excited by the opportunities that this award short listing will present to us."

The Eircom Spider Awards are an annual event that honours Irish individuals and organisations for their outstanding achievements online. Nominees have been judged on design, content, innovation, accessibility and browser compatibility. The awards are run by Business & Finance Magazine.

mrs2be.ie are up against some very strong competition in the form of the other seven websites shortlisted. The Eircom Spiders 2010 listings award, sponsored by Circulator, is for Irish classified websites that provide users with a user-friendly and content-rich experience while searching for relevant information.

mrs2be.ie is Ireland's fastest growing wedding website. It contains helpful planning resources to make life easier for today's engaged brides to be. It is owned and managed by Online Bridal Directory Limited. mrs2be.ie contains a supplier directory, busy discussion forum and a growing collection of wedding planning and advice articles.
