They have produced three-major bands: "Lynyrd Skynyrd", "38 Special" and the "Johnny Van Zant Band". "Shantytown" is widely known across the US for their explosive live performances and lyrical song styling. ShantyTown is led by Robbie Morris (Drums) and "Lil Ronnie" Morris (Lead vocal/guitar). Both are nephews of the late Ronnie Van Zant, and Donnie & Johnny Van Zant from "Lynyrd Skynyrd" and "38 Special". Robbie and Ronnie's musical roots are deep, and like their uncles, they are the real deal.

Shantytown 's musical influences are so diverse that the sounds created when they come together are truly unique. As musicians they excel, as writers they push the very boundaries of Southern Rock, with astonishing results.
