Joint Fundraiser Kicks Off in Honor of National Missing Children's Day

Wisconsin-Based IfIGoMissing.com Partners with Non-Profit Child Quest International

2013-05-24
LOS ANGELES, CA, May 24, 2013 (Press-News.org) Forging together with a mutual message, Wisconsin-based company IfIGoMissing.com (IIGM) and non-profit organization Child Quest International (CQI) have joined forces with a fundraiser to help the fight for missing children.

Child Quest International will be raising funds through the sale of the IIGM web-based portal, which takes a proactive approach in protecting loved ones. IfIGoMissing.com gives users a secure and user-friendly interface to store important information. In the event that an adult or child goes missing, a designated user can login to the website and report the loved one as missing, and provide the contact information to law enforcement immediately.

"We are excited to be fundraising with a great partner like If I Go Missing. With prevention and safety education being one of our main priorities, we believe we can really make things happen and teach families the importance of being proactive through our joint efforts," said Anthony Gonzalez, Victim Advocate and Abduction Safety Specialist for CQI.

Most experts agree it is the first three hours that are the most critical when a child or adult goes missing. At a time when emotions run high and concern for the loved one overtakes logical thought, this is the silent voice that does the talking. The type of information that can be stored on IfIGoMissing.com varies - from hair and eye color to medical records and pictures, the user can select what goes into the server, which uses high-performance encryption methods to secure the information.

To participate in the fundraiser, please visit the Child Quest International website at http://www.childquest.org/cqoutreach.html
