Boutique in Old Town Alexandria Partners with Local Artist

ALEXANDRIA, VA, May 24, 2013 (Press-News.org) REVEL, a recently opened boutique in Old Town, Alexandria will host the opening of the Annya Kai Art show on Sunday June 2nd, from 1PM to 4PM. Artist Annya Kai will attend and share her series of brightly colored animal paintings and prints. Kai's work will be displayed at REVEL through July 28.

"I am so glad that I can share one of my favorite artist's work at REVEL! My goal is to bring a fresh perspective to fashion and art in the DC Metro area by featuring local artists like Annya Kai alongside our unique pieces from California," said Francesca Tanedo, owner of REVEL.

Event entry is free and light refreshments will be provided.

Tanedo is a graduate in Fashion Design of the Virginia Commonwealth University, School of the Arts. Gaining her experience in Los Angeles, Tanedo worked for companies such as Hera, EM&Co, Oliver Peoples, Oakley, and Funktional before returning to her hometown in Northern Virginia.
