Waypoint Adventure Awarded $5000 Grant by The Foundation for MetroWest Youth in Philanthropy Program
The Foundation for MetroWest Youth in Philanthropy Program recently selected Waypoint Adventure to receive a $5000 grant to support adventure programming for youth with disabilities in MetroWest Boston.

Waypoint Adventure provides life transforming outdoor adventure programs for people with disabilities."Helping youth and adults with disabilities discover their purpose, talents, and strengths through the transforming power of adventure is our mission," said Dan Minnich Co-Founder and Co-Director of Waypoint Adventure.
Youth in Philanthropy is a hands-on program that teaches high school students the fundamentals of grant making, fundraising, and the nonprofit world. The program is available to students throughout the MetroWest region and can be found in five Concord schools, in Sudbury, and at the Foundation's office in Natick.
"We greatly appreciate the support of the Foundation's Youth in Philanthropy students and program. Waypoint's vision is that all people, regardless of ability, will have opportunities for adventure and through them realize their personal value, strengths and abilities. These experiences will help people become stronger individuals and community members' said Minnich.
