Singer Desiree Estrada Releases New Single "Don't Speak" May 2013

UNIVERSAL CITY, CA, May 25, 2013 (Press-News.org) Desiree Estrada is a Los Angeles native Singer/Songwriter and knew from an early age she wanted to pursue a career in music. Inspired by artists such as Lauryn Hill, Common, Selena, Sade and Boys II Men, she started singing at her church and school choir.

Desiree's professional career took off in 2009 when she joined the girl group "Kemistre". The group quickly gained momentum performing 4-5 times a week throughout Southern California . In July 2010, Desiree and the group appeared live on the nationally televised shot B.E.T. 106 & Park "Wild Out Wednesdays." Based on their outstanding performance, the group appeared on the show once again in August 2010 where they were voted as "All Star Winners" and won $5,000. Their single "Love Me Hate Me" was then placed on the televised radio show "Music Choice." With all the exposure, Desiree had the pleasure of working alongside many other artists such as California Swag District, The Rejects, YG, Colby O'Donis, Audio Push, and Mann to name a few.

In July of 2011, Desiree officially announced she was going solo. Soon after she began working on her first album with songwriter/producer Leticia Ascencio (who has worked with Nicole Scherzinger, Rigo Luna, Christian Chavez, Christopher Uckermann and many others).

In November 2011, Desiree released a Christmas single entitled "Cada Dia Es Navidad" (Each Day is Christmas). She then followed it with a music video that had great views on the internet.

In 2012 "Te Dare" was released under Trevino Music Group as a test run and obtained great reviews.

She has graced the Green Carpet at The Latin Grammy's, the Red Carpet at the Latin Billboards and other major events as well as performed at special events throughout different cities.

Under her new label Trevino Music Group, Desiree is gearing up for the release of her new single "Don't Speak", a rendition of No Doubt's original, in Bachatta Style. "Don't Speak" gives a new twist and is emotionally perfect for Bachatta Style. The single was translated by Leticia Ascencio produced by Jeeve Docuret and will release nationally and international on May 21st via ITunes and many other digital outlets.

She is also featured on a single produced by the Muzik Junkies entitled "OYE" which features Angel Lopez (ex-Son By Four lead vocalist) as well on the track.

Her album Kween Dez, due out later this year will be covering a range of Urban Latin styles (from bachata to acoustic) and will feature collaborations with many well-known songwriters including John Scott, Gilde Flores, Javier Ceja, Jeeve, and Louis Harden.

This young lady has a busy schedule ahead of her as well, as she is also getting ready to embark on a cross country promotional tour.
