(LCS) was recognized by the Shanghai Chemical Industrial Production (SCIP) Base of China as the 2012 model company of the year for safety production. The award honors companies with outstanding performance in safety production, hazardous chemical control, emergency preparedness and workplace safety. SCIP hosted an awards ceremony on April 8 at the Shanghai Chemical Industry Zone Conference Center where 14 companies received awards for their efforts.
In addition, SCIP granted the "2012 Personal Honor Certification on SCIP Safety Production" to Zhu Xuefeng, LCS environmental health and safety engineer. The personal honor certification acknowledges performance in safety management with 21 individuals from various companies.
