ORLANDO, FL, May 26, 2013 (Press-News.org) Jeanette Bunn, President and CEO of San Diego based Travel To Go has been named Co-President of Send Me On Vacation, which provides much needed vacations to women with cancer who have undergone treatment and need a place to rejuvenate and heal their bodies, mind and spirit. She joins long time board member and founder of the organization Cathy Backus in her co-presidency. Formerly Bunn acted as the Sponsorship Chair, a role she will continue in.
"As a company, our entire mission is to make travel dreams come true!" said Bunn. "The opportunity to help women so much in need of 'R&R" through Send Me On Vacation is aligned with our corporate, personal and spiritual goals. I am pleased to take on this role and grow the organization to include more sponsors and send as many women on vacation as we possibly can."
Travel To Go, a family owned business, has a loyal customer base of 50,000+ has been successfully arranging luxurious vacation resort accommodations for savvy travelers since 1990.

Send Me On Vacation holds annual awareness and fund raising events. The organization's next annual fund raiser will be held at the Lumeria Maui Resort and Spa on Maui. Other events have included similar Golf Tournament and gathering at the Grand Mayan Riveria as well as a Breast Cancer Awareness Month "Sip for the Trip" in Napa Valley, California last October.
According to the new co-president, the mission of Send Me On Vacation is to use vacation as a transformation from physical healing to emotional healing."
