2013-05-28
HARTSDALE, NY, May 28, 2013 (Press-News.org) Cut-It-Out Communications, Inc. (http://www.cioediting.com), a full-service Westchester public relations agency, today announced it has released a video describing how to include your photo in the listing of your company's website on Google's search engine results pages.

The video, at http://www.cioediting.com/photoinserps.asp, describes a process creating reciprocal links between the owner's Google Plus site and the company website using coding called a rich snippet. The snippet, "rel=author," can be tested in Google's rich snippet tester to ensure it is properly inserted.

Willy Gissen, President of Cut-It-Out Communications, said, "Having your photo next to your website listing in Google's search engine results pages increases your click-through rate (CTR) and thus the amount of traffic to your website. And if you've gone to all the trouble to conduct a search engine optimization campaign, and then no one clicks on your high ranking, it doesn't do you any good."

Mr. Gissen went on to describe the video in more detail. It is less than five minutes long, provides a basic step-by-step account and is one among nine videos (http://www.cioediting.com/media_how-to.asp) in his website media room. Other topics include an introduction to website coding, how to match colors on the web, cropping and resizing images and placing a live Twitter feed on your website.

Cut-It-Out Communications also maintains a daily blog at http://www.cioediting.com/wordpress/ and publishes a newsletter every other month. Back issues are archived at http://www.cioediting.com/media_newsletters.asp.
