COSTA MESA, CA, May 30, 2013 (Press-News.org) Alzheimer's Association, Orange County today announced the selection of IDEA HALL, an integrated branding, marketing, and public relations agency, to drive greater visibility and financial support for the cause in the county. IDEA HALL will promote the recently announced Cornerstone Campaign to raise $10 million to expand available services for families affected by the disease, maximize awareness of the organization's 24/7 1.800.272.3900 helpline and ALZ.ORG website, oversee co-branding relationships with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and Anaheim Ducks, and increase sign ups for the Walk to End Alzheimer's events in the Fall.
IDEA HALL will develop the branding for and market the Cornerstone Campaign and its three core priorities of Care, Cure and Capacity; the helpline and website; and the organization's three Walk to End Alzheimer's events in Tustin at The District on October 26, Huntington Beach on November 2 and Anaheim at Angel Stadium on November 16. The agency will manage a comprehensive integrated marketing program that includes advertising, digital marketing, social media and public relations services.
"We currently serve 26 percent of the more than 83,000 Orange County residents who are affected by Alzheimer's, and that percentage will increase with the recent gift, but we still have a long way to go to fulfill our vision of a world without the disease," said Jim McAleer, president and CEO, Alzheimer's Association, Orange County Chapter. "By engaging a premier marketing partner such as IDEA HALL, we can rapidly accelerate widespread awareness of the services that are available for those in need, foster hope for families who require assistance and activate the community to help raise funds to combat the disease."
"Chances are that most people personally have been affected by Alzheimer's or know someone who has been, and we are very proud to be part of the mission to dramatically grow awareness about the cause and drive financial support to fight this pervasive disease in our Orange County community," said Rebecca Hall, president and CEO of Idea Hall.
HKA, Inc., an award winning communications provider, was chosen to provide additional public relations services for the organization.
