DALLAS, TX, May 31, 2013 (Press-News.org) Dallas homebuilder Grenadier Homes will begin developing 57 new town homes in the Villas at Willow Grove next week. The construction marks the second phase of the home builder's master plan for the gated community, located off Eldorado Parkway in Stonebridge Ranch in McKinney, Texas. Grenadier Homes expects new roads and services to be completed in about four months, and construction on individual houses is slated to begin shortly thereafter, with new homes ready for move-in by early 2014.
"We are starting Phase II in Willow Grove because of the tremendous success of Phase I. We built 100 houses in Phase I and we're almost completely sold out, so the timing made sense for us," says John Egnatis, co-founder of Grenadier Homes.
The Villas at Willow Grove community features one-story, attached town homes that come in two- and three-bedroom configurations. Houses range in size from 1,259-to-1,693 square feet inside and up to an additional 155 square feet outside. The neighborhood has easy access to Cascade Lake, and it features a community pool with waterfall and hot tub, clubhouse with shaded patio, barbeque grill, fitness center, hike and bike trails, and a small fruit orchard.
Dan McManaman, sales manager of Villas at Willow Grove, says one of the best draws is the low-maintenance, lock-and-leave lifestyle.
"Residents of Villas at Willow Grove never have to water or mow the lawn, weed, fertilize, water the plants, edge or otherwise maintain the yard, because the homeowner association for this community takes care of it all. Our community particularly appeals to busy people who want to enjoy the beauty of a well-tended neighborhood without having to invest a bunch of personal time in it or pay and coordinate/manage someone else to do it," he notes.
Another big draw is energy efficiency. All Grenadier Homes - including those in Villas at Willow Grove - are Green Built Texas-certified and Energy Star -rated, meaning they have been third-party tested and approved to ensure the highest levels of efficiency.
"We've always been a step ahead in the green movement because we care about what happens to our environment and our customers. Energy efficiency saves our natural resources and reduces utility costs for our customers. In addition, the third-party certification gives homeowners a higher resale value," says Anthony Natale, co-founder of Grenadier Homes.
Grenadier builds each home with low flush toilets; a highly efficient water heater and 16 SEER HVAC system; radiant barrier roof decking; a drought-resistant landscaping system; thermal block, Low E, vinyl windows; and Grade 1 insulation, found in less than 2 percent of homes industry-wide.
Villas at Willow Grove homes start in the upper $100,000 range. The model home is located at 3075 Willow Grove Boulevard #2201 in McKinney, Texas, 75070. For additional information, contact McManaman at danm@grenadierhomes.com or 972-562-2828.
Grenadier Homes designs and builds semi-custom, custom, patio and town homes throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. It is recognized throughout the industry as a leader in customer satisfaction, workmanship, integrity, innovation and perseverance. Although the company was founded in 1990 by Anthony Natale and John Egnatis, Grenadier Homes can trace its roots back to the 1960s when Natale's father, Nick, built a custom-designed home for the Egnatis family. Natale and Egnatis became neighbors and close friends, frequently playing ice hockey together on Grenadier pond. The build had a major impact on them both, and later they created Grenadier Homes with that in mind - to make a positive difference in people's lives through homebuilding.
