FORT WORTH, TX, June 02, 2013 (Press-News.org) Calloway's Nursery was recently voted Best Landscaping and Garden Center in the "McKinney Courier Gazette's" 2013 Readers Choice Awards. The award, voted on by the newspaper's readers, recognizes the Calloway's location at 4050 W. El Dorado Parkway in McKinney.

"Calloway's appreciates being recognized for the extra work we put into providing the freshest, healthiest plants for our customers," says Kimberly Bird, Calloway's vice president of marketing. "But we don't just focus on high-quality plants. We focus on high-quality customer service too. It's really great that our customers recognize the effort we put into running our stores."

This is the third consecutive year that Calloway's has been honored with this award. Their huge selection of plants and other garden supplies, as well as the friendly, knowledgeable staff, has made Calloway's many customers' first choice in garden centers. In addition, events such as weekly garden clinics, children's programs, and several annual festivals contribute to the inviting atmosphere that keeps loyal customers coming back again and again. Calloway's will continue to serve the community of McKinney with the high-quality plants and dedicated service that customers have come to expect since the business was started decades ago.

Having such highly qualified professionals is one of the ways we can ensure that the excellent customer service we are known for continues. Every store has these certified professionals on staff, so customers can get information they can trust no matter what location they visit. A rigorous training program must be completed before any of these professionals can earn this prestigious certification from the Texas Nursery and Landscape Association.
