Kroger And Duke Heart Center To Host "Celebrate Your Health" Event For Community Members On June 7
Local Grocer And Duke Heart Center Partner To Promote Health And Wellness

The Kroger Co. (http://www.kroger.com/), the nation's largest traditional grocery retailer with 14 stores throughout the Triangle and North Carolina, has announced that it will host the inaugural "Celebrate Your Health" event in partnership with Duke Heart Center, Duke University Medical Center and the American Heart Association. The free event will take place at the Kroger store located at 3825 S. Roxboro St. in Durham on Friday, June 7, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Local DJ personality, Brian Dawson, will provide musical entertainment while Kroger pharmacists and dieticians, and local health vendors will offer glucose and blood pressure screenings, healthy food samples, face painting, compression-only CPR, raffles, cooking demonstrations and many other healthy surprises. In addition, Erica Dixon, a nationally-known Zumba instructor, will host an outdoor Zumba class beginning at 6:15 p.m.QUOTES:
