HOUSTON, TX, June 02, 2013 (Press-News.org) Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP represented Boardwalk Pipeline Partners L.P. in connection with execution on May 28, 2013, of joint venture documentation with The Williams Companies Inc. for the development of the Bluegrass Pipeline. The project includes construction of a natural gas liquids pipeline from Marcellus and Utica producing areas in Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania to interconnect with Boardwalk's Texas Gas Transmission system; conversion of a portion of the Texas Gas system to NGL service; and construction of a new large-scale fractionation plant and NGL storage facilities in Louisiana. The parties are also exploring development of a new export liquefied petroleum gas terminal and related facilities on the Gulf Coast.
The Gardere team was led by energy mergers and acquisitions partner Doug Eyberg and included corporate partner Greg Meeks, energy partner Tim Spear, real estate partner Randy Jones and associates Khurram Jiwani, Eunice Song and Jennifer Smith.
Williams was represented by a Kean Miller LLP team led by Blane Clark, with assistance from Linda Clark, Andrew Goodman, Matthew Meiners and Bill Caughman.
