VICTORIA, BC, CANADA, June 02, 2013 (Press-News.org) Golden Cat Films has recently completed production on the thriller Clock Out.This title had an appearance at Cannes in 2013 and the film is action packed. The first official trailer for Clock Out shows many of the film's characters and Toby's desperate situation.
Clock Out was filmed in both Paducah, Kentucky and Venice Beach, California. The film is an action-drama, shot through the lens of a true artist, Brad Hodge. Sets in both these cities were used and filmmakers were tasked with marrying the two. With a little graffiti and some great acting on set, the film pans seamlessly from set to set.
The story follows Toby, an ex-drug addict who is constantly struggling to find an income. His best friend Brian offers a quick-fix, the robbery of a drug courier. Toby agrees to the plan, but he instantly becomes entangled in a complex web of storylines. Toby is tasked with both watching over an addict girlfriend and paying back an enormous debt. He must also escape his own death. Toby worries his clock may have finally run out.
Clock Out is an action feature, with an exciting cast. The film hosts Emmy award winning actor Bill Oberst Jr. (Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies) and up-and-coming actors Joshua Mark Robinson and Shaun Gerardo. Gerardo has spoken out about the film's spectacular shooting style: "Clock Out is different than other films in the genre because we made brave choices with the way we shot the film, there are extreme close-ups, point-of-view shots, masters and all of our stunts are real!" The film is ready to thrill audiences.
Also, early screenings at Cannes have piqued viewer's interest, with Clock Outseeking final distribution. Thriller fans will not have to wait long to see Hodge's ground-breaking and creative independent film, Clock Out.
