MOSCOW, RUSSIA, June 05, 2013 (Press-News.org) The 19th meeting of the Russian Research Association "Group 7/89" took place in Taganrog (Rostov region) on 23rd-25th May. Its attendees were companies from more than 20 regions of the country, from Kaliningrad to Irkutsk.
As usual, current issues of the industry were discussed at the meeting: Big Data, professional standards, protection of personal data, "attack" on NGOs in Russia. Also a contest to identify the best research project was held as a part of the meeting.
Five companies (from Yaroslavl, Krasnoyarsk, Yekaterinburg, Voronezh and Novosibirsk) participated in it. We are pleased to announce that SOCIS with its presentation took the first place. We thank all our colleagues for their high opinion. Professional acknowledgement is very valuable for us and gives us momentum to new achievements.
Main facts about the Russian Research Association "Group 7/89"
The Association was founded in 2001. Till 2007 the Association was an informal (but really functioning) community of Russian research companies. In 2007 it was registered as a nonprofit organization - as Association of legal entities. Currently the Association unites more than 30 research companies working on the territory of 46 regions of the Russian Federation.
SOCIS MR Russia conducts marketing research on the basis of mass surveys of the population, expert and elite surveys, in-depth interviews and focus-group discussions as well as other types of surveys. Our company provides a full technological cycle of research -- from designing the program of the research to the presentation of analytical reports. However our primary focus is fieldwork.
SOCIS was founded in April 1997. Since 2002 SOCIS is a member of ESOMAR, the world association of research professionals. We are members of BIG and AIMRI associations. Top managers of the company are members of the Russian Society of Sociologists. In 2009 SOCIS joined Top 20 of Russian MR companies in categories "personnel professionalism", "business processes management" and "quality control" (project "Ranking of Russian Research Companies" of Group 7/89).
