NEW BERN, NC, June 09, 2013 (Press-News.org) Fairfield Harbour (http://www.fhpoa.com), a residential boating and golf community located 15 minutes from historic New Bern, has announced that its partner organization Resort Management Group (RMG), the resort destination management service for Fairfield Harbour, will host a lemonade stand to benefit cancer research on Saturday, June 8 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. outside its office, located at 475 Broad Creek Road. RMG is hosting their lemonade stand as part of the nationwide campaign program "National Lemonade Days," a meaningful, fundraising event held annually the weekend before Father's Day and sponsored by Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF). Created in 2000 by Alexandra "Alex" Scott, a determined girl who lost her battle with cancer in 2004, ALSF encourages the public to get involved by hosting local lemonade stands during the event and donating the proceeds to benefit pediatric cancer research.
