Emuge has published a new catalog of cutting tools for dental prosthetics manufacturing. The 40-page catalog reflects the latest additions to the Emuge-Franken dental end mills line, one of the most extensive lines of dental milling tools in the market, and provides detailed product specifications and tooling accessories data. The catalog also includes comprehensive application programming examples, machining / operating data and work piece / tool clamping information. The Emuge-Franken dental end mills line features solid carbide construction, cutting geometries and coatings that have been engineered specifically for use with today's dental materials including zirconium oxide, Polymethyl Methacrylate (PMMA), wax, cobalt chrome, titanium, glass and ceramic - the most commonly used materials in dental prosthetics. Additions to the catalog include the new CVD-D ball nose end mills featuring an ultra-tough cutting substrate for the roughing and pre-finishing of glass ceramic / e.max . New solid carbide ball nose end mills for zirconium oxide for use in Roland dental milling machines have also been added.
Products include solid carbide ball nose and torus end mills which have a radius tolerance of up to +/- .005 mm and a diameter tolerance of .01 mm. Ball nose cutters are available in cutting diameters ranging from 0.4 to 6mm. Torus end mills are available in cutting diameters of 3 and 4mm.
The Emuge-Franken dental line is suitable for a variety of machine tools used for dental prosthetics manufacturing, from bench top milling systems to 5-Axis machining centers. Tools are compatible with all software systems used in the dental prosthetics field including hyperDENT CAM software from Emuge's technical partner - OPEN MIND Technologies USA, Inc.
