Lady Sings The Praise; Alkendria Releases New 60's Inspired Music Video

Alkendria is regarded as the Angel of Rhythm and Praise (urban Gospel and contemporary Christian music),

2010-11-03
HOUSTON, TX, November 03, 2010 (Press-News.org) Entrancing falsettos, catchy choruses and signature vamps, a few of the reasons Alkendria is regarded as the Angel of Rhythm and Praise (urban Gospel and contemporary Christian music), by many who follow and support her career.
At the core, Alkendria is a praise and worshiper and that really comes across in her music. Her sincerity can be felt through her songs and it's this authenticity that resonates with those familiar with the genuine songstress. She has a warm and caring spirit and that cannot be manufactured and mass-produced. It's truly part of what makes her special.
Alkendria's inaugural CD released in 2007 entitled "Thank You" was a stimulating project from start to finish. "Thank You" garnered modest accolades and began to establish her as a singer, songwriter and inspirational recording artist.
Her upcoming release, "Liberation" clearly reflects her continued growth, as well as her willingness to embrace her freedom and creativity as an artist. On this project, she explores various music genres including, light rock, inspirational soul, contemporary Gospel, as well as revisits her traditional Gospel roots.
Whether through ballads reverencing God, up beat praise party rhythms, or over urban inspired tracks driven by pulsating bass lines, Alkendria is finding her place in contemporary Christian music. She is truly a crown jewel waiting to be discovered, by those who treasure good music that can reach across boundaries to uplift and bring people together.
