Generate Impulse Buys, Increase Customer Loyalty -- Company-Wide Digital Signage Thanks to Fresh Look Promoter

METTLER TOLEDO has released a digital signage platform called Fresh Look Promoter as a company-wide visual merchandising and in-store advertising solution.

2013-06-14
ZURICH, SWITZERLAND, June 14, 2013 (Press-News.org) In addition to customer displays on scales, the application also supports a multitude of other end devices.

Fresh Look Promoter is web-based software for creating, managing and distributing the contents of high-quality digital signage campaigns. The platform enables retailers to combine text with images and videos, and to program the campaigns for distribution across their entire store network at specific times or based on other criteria. With its ease of use, Fresh Look Promoter is an ideal instrument for helping marketing departments to rapidly develop up-to-date campaigns to boost sales or promote particular brands.

Open and flexible
Open interfaces and flexible player software ensure that campaigns prepared using Fresh Look Promoter can be run on virtually any screen from a wall-hung monitor to a scale display or kiosk system. "The Fresh Look Promoter provides food retailers with an all-round tool for their digital signage activities. This simplifies the IT, marketing and in-store processes alike," explains Gerd Griesohn, Product Manager at METTLER TOLEDO. In addition to Fresh Look Promoter itself, users also receive content players which are compatible with numerous standard hardware solutions. The content players support both Windows and Linux-based platforms as well as embedded systems at the POS. Hence, a store network using a diverse array of digital signage devices does not pose any problems for Fresh Look Promoter.

Content creation: optimised processes
When using the Fresh Look Promoter, all content elements such as images, text and playlists are stored on a central content server, which can be accessed and managed online from any PC with an internet connection. The sophisticated access management system allows retail organisations to carefully define different access levels for marketing and IT employees, and even external parties such as creative agencies, depending on their specific tasks. Once set up, digital signage playlists can be released to particular regions or specific groups of devices as required.

Interactive applications
Moreover, Fresh Look Promoter makes it easy for food retailers to develop interactive content for kiosk applications at the POS. PC-based information terminals in stores can provide consumers with access to digital recipe libraries, for example, or product databases. Marketing departments can create contents directly in Fresh Look Promoter's user-friendly graphic editor. Providing interactive information increases the amount of time consumers spend in those departments and strengthens customer loyalty by offering shoppers better service.
