FAIRHOPE, AL, June 16, 2013 (Press-News.org) Christian Copyright Solutions (CCS) is excited to announce Christian music artist, Natalie Grant has joined their latest advertising and promotional campaign, Let's Worship. Everywhere.
Let's Worship. Everywhere launched May 1, featuring artists' first-person accounts of their past and present worship experiences. They endorse CCS and its PERFORMMusic License, which is a blanket license that allows churches to legally perform and play music outside the regular worship service.
The campaign begins with the perspective that worship can happen anywhere, and worship leaders must be prepared to lead worship at all types of events and in all types of venues. The campaign's message takes an educational tone, helping the reader better understand the limits of the U.S. Copyright Religious Service Exemption, which states that churches can perform or play music without licensing or paying royalties only in regular worship services.
It further explains that worship leaders often find themselves performing music or leading worship in a variety of situations, including camps, dances, picnics, youth events, dance classes, coffee shops, and concerts. For these types of events outside the regular worship service, churches must have proper licensing.
"I love the local church. What I do today is really just an extension of what I spent years doing in my church, youth group and Bible studies. I will be forever grateful to my local church for giving me a platform in which to develop my God-given abilities," Natalie Grant continues, " Church leaders and worship leaders across the country are helping to bring the light and love of Jesus to their communities and congregations, but they may not always be aware of song copyright legalities. That's why I support the Lets Worship. Everywhere. campaign. They are educating churches and providing a simple solution."
"Our mission at CCS is to help churches and Christian ministries 'do music right'," CCS founder and CVO Susan Fontaine Godwin said. "We wanted to bring heightened awareness to performance music licensing, and we knew that Natalie would be perfect spokesperson for the job. We are pleased to work with her and the other artists to reach church and worship leaders with this important message."
Church and worship leaders may download a free report for more information on this topic, Six Myths About Copyrights That Put Your Church at Risk, by visiting the CCS website link: http://www.christiancopyrightsolutions.com/churchleaders/
When they download the report, they are automatically entered into a drawing for an iPad Mini.

CCS also offers PERMISSIONSplus, a service that assists clients in securing the individual copyright licenses they need and paying royalties for any project not covered by a blanket license.
