Bill Oberst Jr.'s Latest Film Ditch Day Massacre Promises Guts, Glory and a Great Story!

The second movie clip for the Ditch Day Massacre has been released. In the clip, the cast and crew talk about the horror film's gorier moments. Fans of horror are encouraged to watch this preview here.

2013-06-16
VICTORIA, BC, CANADA, June 16, 2013 (Press-News.org) Post-production has concluded on the horror film Ditch Day Massacre, a new thriller produced by Megan Waters. Ditch Day Massacre features the directorial debut of Joe Hendrick. And now, the creative team behind the film, including Bill Oberst Jr., Katy Foley and Zach Silverman, are publicly speaking about the film, in a new movie clip.

There has been only one clip released by the filmmakers to date, a 20 sec' teaser trailer. The teaser debuted the killer Vick, played by actor Bill Oberst Jr. Vick yields a bloody fireman's axe as he terrorizes several hard-drinking friends. He stalks, creeps and slices through a peaceful suburban home in a spectacular suit and tie. Now, a new movie clip is available!

The new promo' trailer gives us just the right amount of thrills to keep horror film fans' interest sparked and their blood boiling. Some of the film's intense moments have been released for your sadistic viewing pleasure.

At this time, the creative team is proud to inform the horror community that Ditch Day Massacre (formerly titled Ditch) is not your typical horror film. For one, this one of a kind teen slasher is set entirely in daylight! The clever twists and turns, scribed by veteran horror writer Daniel P. Coughlin (Lake Dead, Farmhouse), separate this new entry into the horror genre from the standard, while maintaining an affectionate celebration of horror's beloved 80's flicks. As well, all of the gore special effects were filmed directly through the lens, with little to no post CGI effects.

This latest demented peek at the picture will drag fans in clawing and screaming, leaving us to wonder: 'why the hell is a well-dressed-axe-maniac shredding his way through a high school ditch party?' According to Bill Oberst Jr., 'the hardest working man in horror,' "that is the genius behind Ditch Day Massacre. It's the story." Writers and siblings Daniel and Ryan Coughlin have created amazing characters and a great story that weaves a deliciously evil tale of revenge. The film never lets up on the unrelenting character reveals, blood, guts, and tons and tons of gore!

Horror fans can watch the latest full-featurette here. This clip will allow viewers to unlock the full length and terrifying theatrical trailer, at a later date. The newest featurette is here:
