RENTON, WA, June 18, 2013 (Press-News.org) Cindi Cameron, a mortgage loan officer with First Rate Mortgage, was honored in Kent this spring for her outstanding work in the business community. At its annual dinner gala, the Kent Chamber of Commerce gave Cindi a Leadership Award for her work in membership development. The following month Cindi was named Kent's best mortgage loan officer in the Kent Reporter's 2013 "Best of Kent" contest. Winners for the contest are selected by readers of the newspaper.
With 16 years of lending experience, Cindi is a residential mortgage specialist with a focus on helping individuals and families find mortgages that fit their needs and budget for home purchases and refinancing. In addition to her mortgage work, Cindi is a member of the Kent Chamber board of directors and the membership and business service committees.
"Cindi is such an asset to the Kent Chamber of Commerce! Cindi has shown an incredible amount of support by partnering with, referring and frequenting member businesses. She educates others on how to take advantage of their memberships to ensure they are receiving the full value of their investment and leads by example by being an investor," said Caren Crowley, membership director. "From recruitment to volunteering, her efforts for our chamber are so greatly appreciated."
Cindi is also a member of the Kent Downtown Partnership board and serves as the organization's membership committee chair. Cindi is also a member of Kent Sunrise Rotary and has served as the fundraising chair for Oktoberfest, a fall event that raises money to support the community.
"I've lived in Washington all my life, but I call Kent my home," Cindi said. "I believe in the people and businesses here, so I enjoy giving back to the community. It is rewarding to know they appreciate my work. I'm very honored."
