Over the past several years there has been a growing coyote predation increase in many states. This growth has become very noticeable to small game hunters in areas where traditionally small game such as pheasant, grouse, turkey, rabbit and deer flourish.

While whitetail populations battle disease and drought in many areas of the United States, there are still areas where deer are in abundance, however, if the population of the coyote is not monitored closely and controlled annually, those areas may fall prey to a major migration of predatory creatures such as the coyote or timber wolf.

We encourage anyone interested in working to protect their deer herds by predator hunting, to locate experts in your part of the country as different hunting conditions require a different strategy as does the time of the year you are hunting for them.
