EAGLE MOUNTAIN, UT, June 20, 2013 (Press-News.org) Heidi Angell, author of The Hunters, Royal Prince Vince, and Creative Exercises to Inspire, has turned her creative pen toward The Clear Angel Chronicles. The first book in the series, Elements of a Broken Mind, introduces readers to Clear Angel, a psychic who isn't very vocal about her abilities. But when a serial killer begins preying on the women in her town, she turns to Detective Anderson in an effort to help these girls.
"Listen, you may not believe in psychics; that's fine. Generally speaking, I think most people that claim to be psychic are lying, scheming, cretins preying on the desperate to turn a quick buck.
"But every now and then the genuine article comes along. I can't help what I see and hear. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. It's a serious pain in my butt, you know. But this is real. I don't want your money, and I sure as hell don't want you to tell anyone... anyone that I told you this. But I can't just sit here and let these girls keep suffering, not when I believe that I could help in some way. They are really messing up my sleep pattern!"
Can Detective Anderson put aside his own prejudices about psychics and find a way to use Clear's information to save these young women?
Learn more in Elements of a Broken Mind, by Heidi Angell, available June 20th in ebook through Smashwords, and in paperback through Createspace or your local bookstore.
